Week 12: Preliminary Result

Date: 29/04/2019 - 03/05/2019

A preliminary experiment had done to observe the ability of the sound sensor to capture a sound signal produce by medical equipment. A medical equipment that involve in this experiment is syringe pump (Terumo TE-331)

Here is the finding:

1. Error: No syringe pump detected




2. Error: Clamping




3. Error: Battery 




According to Terumo TE-331 Service manual, the machine will produce an alarm when abnormality occur as figure below.


The output signal frequency and amplitude had been observe.

Date: 18/03/2019 - 22/03/2019 Date: 19/03/2019 I have done a comparison between Bluetooth system and Wi-Fi.  Based on my project, I decided to use Wi-Fi as the medium of IoT communication because it has less limitation compared to Bluetooth. Week 8: Survey and Finding

Date: 01/04/2019 - 05/04/2019 During this week, me and my team had done a survey regarding our project. The survey was conducted on 4th April 2019 @ 10.00am until 11.30am at Radibems Sdn Bhd UniKL BMI office. Radibems Sdn Bhd is one of the Biomedical Engineering Management Services Company that providing vital cost-effective solutions and reliability in the operations and maintenance  of high technology hospital equipment. 5 person had involved in this survey which all of them are Biomedical Engineer that assigned to do a troubleshooting on component level.
